Effective Date: 01.04.2026
At AQSE.in ("AQSE", "we", "us", or "our"), we aim to provide customers with genuine, accurately described and quality products.
This policy explains the conditions and process for returns, exchanges, replacements and refunds for products purchased through AQSE.in.
The return, replacement or refund eligibility of a product may vary depending on the product category, seller, manufacturer warranty, product condition and reason for the request.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
A product may be eligible for return, replacement or refund where applicable if:
The wrong product was delivered.
The product is materially different from the product ordered or described.
The product was received damaged.
The product is defective or does not function as reasonably expected.
A product or essential component is missing.
The product is covered by a stated return/replacement policy.
The product is otherwise eligible under the applicable product or seller terms.
The applicable return period and eligibility will be displayed on the product page or order information wherever applicable.
Not every product is eligible for return or exchange.
Return eligibility may depend on:
Product category;
Seller;
Manufacturer requirements;
Product condition;
Reason for return;
Whether the product has been installed or used;
Whether the product is sealed;
Applicable hygiene or safety requirements; and
Applicable law.
Customers should review the return information displayed on the product page before placing an order.
If a product arrives visibly damaged, customers should:
Take photographs or video of the package before opening, where reasonably possible.
Photograph the shipping label and packaging.
Record the condition of the product and accessories.
Report the issue through the AQSE return/complaint process as soon as reasonably possible.
For certain products, particularly electronics, appliances and high-value products, photographs, video, serial-number information or other evidence may be required to investigate a damage claim.
If you receive a product different from what you ordered, or if an item, component or essential accessory is missing, please report the issue promptly.
AQSE or the applicable seller may request:
Order ID;
Product photographs;
Packaging photographs;
Shipping label;
Serial number/IMEI, where applicable;
Unboxing photographs or video, where available; and
Other information reasonably required to investigate the claim.
Depending on the circumstances, the resolution may include replacement, exchange, delivery of the missing item, repair or refund.
A product that does not function correctly may be eligible for replacement, repair, exchange or refund depending on:
The nature of the defect;
Product category;
Return period;
Manufacturer/seller warranty;
Whether the product can be repaired;
Availability of replacement stock; and
Applicable law.
For products covered by a manufacturer's warranty, the customer may be directed to an authorised service centre or manufacturer service process where appropriate.
For electronics, electrical goods and home appliances, customers should not attempt unauthorised repairs or modifications before making a return, replacement or warranty claim.
Damage resulting from misuse, unauthorised repair, improper installation, voltage fluctuation, liquid exposure, physical damage or other exclusions in the applicable warranty may not qualify as a product-defect return.
Where installation is required, installation should be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements.
Where products are described as OEM, OE, Genuine, Original, Compatible, Aftermarket, Refurbished, Used or Open Box, the product condition and description displayed on the product page will apply.
A compatible or aftermarket product is not necessarily an OEM or manufacturer-original product.
A customer may raise a return or authenticity complaint if the product materially differs from its stated description.
Unless specifically permitted for the relevant product, returned products should be in substantially the same condition in which they were received.
Depending on the product and applicable return terms, the product may need to be returned with:
Original packaging;
Accessories;
Manuals;
Warranty cards;
Labels;
Serial numbers;
Complimentary items; and
Other components supplied with the product.
Certain products may not be eligible for return after installation, activation, registration, customisation or use, except where required by applicable law or where the product is defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise eligible for a remedy.
Certain products may not be eligible for return or exchange because of their nature, hygiene, safety, customisation, perishability, software/digital activation or other legitimate restrictions.
Examples may include, where applicable:
Personal-use or hygiene-sensitive products;
Consumables;
Products with opened safety seals;
Customised or made-to-order products;
Activated software or licence products;
Certain spare parts;
Products specifically marked as non-returnable;
Products where return is restricted by applicable law or manufacturer requirements.
The applicable product page will indicate return restrictions where relevant.
A non-returnable classification does not remove any consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The return period, where applicable, will be specified on the relevant product page, order information or applicable seller policy.
The return period may differ between products and sellers.
Customers should initiate a return request within the applicable period.
Where a product is defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise covered by a warranty or statutory remedy, the applicable remedy may continue to be available even if the standard change-of-mind return period has expired, subject to applicable terms and law.
Customers can initiate a return or complaint through the return facility provided on AQSE.in or by contacting customer support.
The customer may be required to provide:
Order ID;
Product details;
Reason for return;
Photographs/video;
Product serial number or IMEI, where applicable;
Invoice/order information; and
Other information reasonably required for verification.
AQSE or the seller may inspect the returned product before approving a refund, replacement or exchange.
Verification may include checking:
Product identity;
Serial number/IMEI;
Physical condition;
Accessories;
Packaging;
Signs of use or damage;
Tampering;
Product authenticity;
Defect or issue reported by the customer.
A return request may be rejected where the product does not satisfy the applicable return conditions, subject to applicable consumer rights and law.
Where return pickup is available, AQSE or its logistics partner may arrange collection from the customer's address.
Pickup availability may depend on the product, seller, destination and logistics serviceability.
Customers must securely pack the product as reasonably required for safe transportation.
If return pickup is unavailable and self-shipping is permitted, the customer may be required to ship the product using the instructions provided by AQSE or the seller.
Any reimbursement of eligible return shipping costs will be subject to the applicable product policy and applicable law.
Where exchange is offered, an eligible product may be exchanged for:
The same product;
The same model;
An approved replacement; or
Another option specifically offered through the exchange process.
Exchange is subject to stock availability and applicable product conditions.
If the requested replacement is unavailable, AQSE or the seller may provide another appropriate remedy, which may include a refund.
For defective, damaged, incorrect or missing products, AQSE or the seller may offer a replacement where appropriate.
Replacement may be subject to:
Product availability;
Verification of the issue;
Manufacturer/service-centre assessment;
Return of the original product; and
Applicable product terms.
Replacement does not necessarily restart or extend the original warranty or return period unless expressly stated.
Where a refund is approved, the refund amount and method will depend on the order, payment method, applicable policy and applicable law.
Refunds may be processed to:
The original payment method;
The applicable bank account;
Another permitted electronic payment method; or
Another method agreed or permitted under applicable law.
For COD orders, additional information may be required to process the refund electronically.
After a return is approved and any required verification is completed, AQSE or the seller will initiate the applicable refund.
The time taken for the amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.
The customer will not be charged a refund processing fee unless such charge is expressly permitted by applicable law and clearly disclosed.
Customers may request cancellation before dispatch, subject to the order status and applicable terms.
If an order has already been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible and the customer may need to follow the applicable return process.
Once an order has been dispatched or delivered, the applicable return or cancellation process will depend on the product and its return eligibility.
Customers should not deliberately refuse a correctly delivered product as a substitute for following the return process.
Return shipping charges, where applicable, may depend on the reason for the return and the product's return terms.
Where the product is defective, damaged, incorrect or materially different from the order, AQSE or the seller will handle eligible return shipping in accordance with the applicable policy and law.
For customer-initiated returns for reasons such as change of mind, size/fit or other permitted reasons, applicable return shipping charges or conditions may apply if disclosed before purchase.
If an order includes a free gift, promotional item, bundle component or other benefit, the customer may be required to return the relevant promotional item along with the main product where the entire order is returned.
Any applicable refund may be adjusted in accordance with the disclosed promotional terms and applicable law.
AQSE takes product authenticity seriously.
If a customer believes that a product is counterfeit, unauthorised or materially misrepresented as genuine/OEM/OE/original, the customer should report the issue promptly.
AQSE may investigate the seller, product, documentation, serial number, manufacturer information and other relevant evidence.
Where appropriate, AQSE may suspend a listing or seller while an investigation is conducted.
A product may be covered by:
Manufacturer warranty;
Seller warranty;
AQSE warranty, where expressly offered; or
Extended warranty, where purchased.
Warranty claims are separate from ordinary change-of-mind returns.
Where the applicable warranty requires repair or inspection by an authorised service provider, the customer may be directed to the relevant service process.
Please refer to the Warranty & Repair Policy and the warranty terms supplied with the product.
Return, replacement or warranty claims may not apply where the problem resulted from circumstances such as:
Physical damage;
Liquid or moisture damage;
Electrical surge or unsuitable voltage;
Misuse;
Negligence;
Improper installation;
Unauthorised repair or modification;
Tampering;
Use contrary to manufacturer instructions;
Normal wear and tear; or
Other exclusions applicable to the product.
This does not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded.
AQSE may investigate patterns of suspected fraudulent or abusive return activity.
This may include:
Returning a different product;
Serial-number substitution;
Returning used or damaged products as new;
Removing parts or accessories;
False damage or defect claims;
Repeated misuse of return policies;
Manipulating promotional offers; or
Other fraudulent activity.
AQSE may take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law and its terms.
For products sold by independent sellers, return, replacement and warranty responsibilities may be shared between the seller, manufacturer and AQSE depending on the product and transaction.
The applicable seller and product terms will be displayed where relevant.
AQSE may facilitate communication, return logistics, refunds or dispute resolution in accordance with its marketplace procedures.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or override any mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, remedies or protections available under applicable Indian law.
Where applicable law provides a consumer with a remedy, that remedy will remain available notwithstanding any general return restriction.
AQSE may update this Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, products, seller arrangements or applicable law.
The updated version will be published on this page with the revised effective date.
